The Menil may be concerned about its drawing center, but c'mon--Knudsen's indictment tediously begs the question. Perhaps the Collection doesn't like the piece, whose meaning, like urinals, could rest on any tree.
One could make an alternate, baseless claim: the art guys, whose breezy concept of marrying an angiosperm are attempting to solemnify their absurdist act so as to mollify future sales and resales. The humility of having the duo's "art" plucked a la dandelion from the front lawn, is tantamount to Gagosian draining the essences from the shark tank--a deflating act of no confidence that breaks the continuity of artist/collector collusion. That could explain the need to martial the vulcanized valkyries of glasstire. Would Duchamp decry the destruction of his porcelains?Do the Art Guys really want to make serious about their play? If so, what does that say about their schtick; how to poke fun at reliquaries when you want your splinter worshipped?

Besides, a divorce is in order given the two deserted their bride as soon as the cameras stopped rolling. Selling art is fine, but marrying it, I suggest you take it home with you.

I really love what you're into. My complete opposite. I really enjoy a guy who loves to show off how tough he is and how much he can take. The more stoic and manly he is about it, the better. I love men's chests, nipples and abs. Those are targets that just demand my full attention, begging to be tested and roughed up. (erotically, of course)
